We have 189 guests dining with us for dinner tonight. If each person has an appetiser, main (+side plate) and dessert that’s a whopping 656 plates (not including serving cookware). We’re in for a busy one tonight! But we wouldn’t have it any other way.

MEET THE CHEF - Michelin kitchen trained Chef, Dha MEET THE CHEF - Michelin kitchen trained Chef, Dhayalan Paul, has an impressive 21 year track record of building food brands and heading up kitchen operations globally. He has worked at: The Cinnamon Club, London (trained by Michelin star Chef Eric Chavot); Hyatt Regency, India and Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai. 

Aside from overseeing development in the Khai Khai kitchen, he is the founder of Porcine Agrofoods, a farm-to-table operation specialising in organic red meat, on a mission to disrupt the current B2B meat supply chain. 

Chef Paul has cooked for Bill Clinton, Kofi Annan, Michael Schumacher and Imran Khan to name a few. 

We are absolutely delighted to have him here at Khai Khai. A true professional, exceptional chef and food tech disrupter. Show Chef Paul some love in the comments below.
FRIDAYS AT KHAI KHAI - the start of the weekend at FRIDAYS AT KHAI KHAI - the start of the weekend at 29 Queen Street. 

In most Indian languages, Friday is Shukravāra, named for Shukra, the planet Venus. 

In Bengali, শুক্রবার or Shukrobar is the 6th day of the Bengali week and marks the beginning of the weekend. 

At Khai Khai we start the weekend on a Friday, open all day from 12noon serving our ever popular two course lunch menu and on the go snacks. From 5pm we turn up the heat with our exceptionally good early evening offer and finish with our a la carte menu and cocktails from 6.30pm.
